James Chambers, inspired by his vision to mobilize the Church and to reach the lost, has dedicated his life to preaching the transformative power of Christ’s love to restore people to God and one another. He is the founding director of A Faith That Overflows, a ministry whose vision is to see the Church awakened and mobilized to share Jesus with love and passion. God’s grace on James has been affirmed by others—he served 12 years as an evangelist with Intervarsity Christian Fellowship/USA, where he helped lead Intervarsity to historic numbers of conversions; the Lausanne Movement founded by Billy Graham, recognized him as a top emerging world Evangelism Leader; Luis Palau Association often calls on James to train their emerging evangelists in ways to best partner with local churches. James received a Masters in Evangelism and Leadership from Wheaton College where he has been invited back to teach, training evangelism leaders from around the world. Over the past decade, James has equipped 90 missionaries to advance the Gospel in countries such as Romania, Czech Republic, China, Uganda, Tanzania, and Kenya; and over 15,000 believers have been equipped to take the Gospel throughout the world. James’ dream is that every believer would experience the fullness of joy Jesus brings, and be confident in their ability to bring the Gospel into their sphere of influence.
